We’re all about Canada in our latest issue of Prostly, our sister site dedicated to our two passions – beer and travel. While Departful and Prostly features content from around the world, from contributors on almost all continents, Canada is our home. To celebrate Canada’s milestone of 150 years, we’re showcasing content on Canadian beer, written by Canadian beer enthusiasts front and centre. Maybe we’re not as modest or humble as you thought.

First up we’ve created an infographic that highlights 150 breweries from coast to coast to coast to visit during #Canada150. We narrowed down the nearly 700 breweries across the country with the help of our beer loving community, and now we just have to find time to visit them all.

Let’s move gears to our country’s capital for a highly curated guide to Ottawa’s beer scene with Dominion City’s Josh McJannett. From a much needed morning coffee and books to incredible eateries and craft breweries, Josh gives us some of his favourite spots around town.

There’s nothing quite like escaping the city for the lake in the summer, which Madeline experiences first hand in Prince Edward County. Here on the shores of Lake Ontario she’s made a weekend of wineries, hip hotels, whisky, country shops and craft beer into a must have guide for your next visit.

Last but not least, J.P. visits a brewery on another lake in Ontario for his profile on Norse Brewing. This recent brewery upstart in Parry Sound is truly a family affair with each member playing a vital role in both its creation and operations.

That’s a wrap for this latest edition of Prostly. If you want to receive each issue when it drops monthly, sign up for our newsletter. And if, like us, you love all things beer and travel – get in touch! We love featuring new breweries, destinations and experiences from around the globe.

Prost!
